I’ve been in the construction industry for the past three decades. When I was 18, I started working as a carpenter on custom residential homes. I played baseball in college, eventually transitioning into playing semi-pro baseball. After my baseball career concluded, I began working as an estimator for a commercial construction company. My commercial construction career has taken me to multiple cities including Chattanooga and Knoxville, TN, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C. Throughout my tenure in construction, I’ve managed multiple high-profile retail, office, medical, business, multifamily and government construction projects. I returned to the custom residential construction industry about seven years ago and have managed the building and remodeling of over 50 homes in the New River Valley to date. I love this work and seeing the transformation of homes for families.

On weekends, I enjoy biking on the Huckleberry Trail, visiting local breweries like Eastern Divide, dining in downtown Blacksburg at The Cellar or Blacksburg Tavern, walking through the Blacksburg Farmers market, and spending time with my children.
